This is 5 year old Adrien from Muisne ( in Esmeralda Province).
He suffered from severe strabismus (lazy eye) in both eyes making it almost impossible to read or focus on anything.
This past Saturday he was part of the Hospital Metropolitano de Quito ophthalmology mission and had both eyes repaired.
He will now be able to see correctly! as you can tell by the photo, both he and his mom are excited!
Thanks to Fundación Metrofraternidad the doctors at the Hospital Metropolitano Hospital Metropolitano Quito who volunteer their Saturdays to help these children, and our HKIE donors, another child has the chance for a better life!
