Walking....something so many of us take for granted, but for 2 children it was very difficult.
Two children from the Salinas, Santa Elena Province, were helped by HKIE.
Our Child 653 is 14-year-old Anderson who was born without the lower half of his left leg, He, like so many we see, got around using a crutch. For the first time, thanks to Prosthesis Imbabura, Anderson is learning to walk and will soon be ready to play!
Yasmin, is our 12-year-old child 654., she has problems with her lower legs and feet, so she cannot walk in a normal manner.
Again thanks to our allies Prosthesis Imbabura Yasmin received 2 special braces which will enable her to stand and walk normally and without pain.
