He was poked in his eye with something sharp.
They live in Arenillas, El Oro Province.
A 6 hour drive to the city of Cuenca where HKIE sponsored his surgery in order not to loose his eyesight.
Doctor Miotto from Exilaser in Cuenca determined he had traumatic cataracts that needed to be repaired immediately with surgery.
Everything worked out fine! He will maintain a great vision.
