5-year-old Jeremy had previous cleft lip and cleft palate surgeries..
Mom and Jeremy came to Dr. Pablo complaining of throat problems. It was discovered he had a fistula at the back of his throat. This last week Dr. Pablo corrected the problem and Jeremy will no longer get infections from this.
2 1/2-year-old Jandry had the 2nd of the two surgeries to correct his webbed hands and feet.
He had two toes and two fingers on each side that were webbed, he will now be able to walk and use his fingers correctly.
His mom gave us a big hug when they left the Buen Samaitano house where they stayed.
Both families are so grateful to the Helping Kids donors, Dr. Pablo Salamea our Medical Director and Surgeon, and Hospital del Rio for helping their children have normal lives!
