This is 3 month old Carlitos from the Cuenca area , Azuay Province who had a very bad cleft lip.
Dr. Pablo Salamea our medical director, corrected this yesterday and little Carlitos is on his way to a normal life...learning to eat and speak correctly.
His sweet parents were so pleased that HKIE, Dr. Pablo and Hospital del Rio were willing to help their little boy.
