Our Child 577 is a beautiful young lady, Erika , who is 16 years old and recently had heart surgery at Hospital Metropolitano in Quito.
Erika was born with congenital malformation of the circulatory system and PDA, which is failure of the aortic and pulmonary arteries to correctly close after birth.
Her surgery took over five hours and she was in ICU for three days, another 5 days in the hospital and is slowly recuperating at home now.
