This is 6 year old Lenin from El Azuay who suffered from an undescended testicle on one side, causing him pain.
This past week he had his first of 2 surgeries to correct this problem.
Dr. Eddy Lopez, a pediatric surgeon at Hospital del Rio performed the surgery.
Doctor and mom report everything went well..
Lenin will have his next surgery in 6 months.
