Gisella is undergoing chemo for bone cancer and sadly 6 months ago her right leg was amputated at the hip.
This has not dampened this young lady's spirits!
She is so happy that with HKIE she will now be able to walk around on her own!
Protesis Imbabura, our allies in the Province of Imbabura contacted HKIE requesting help in getting her a prothesis and, of course, we were thrilled to be able to help Gisella get on with her life!
