Last child of 2018, Maria Paz was born with a cleft lip. She had a less than successful surgery when she was younger, but her parents knew it was not the best that could be done. They wanted their daughter to not be teased and grow up to be the beauty they knew she could be.
So they contacted Dr. Pablo Salamea and HKIE to see if her lip could be corrected. Last week Dr.Pablo performed her surgery and she now has the chance at a better life. Maria Paz and her parents thank all the HKIE supporters for such a wonderful Christmas gift.
