Little Juan David had a severe cleft lip which Dr Pablo Javier Salamea Molinasuccessfully repaired this past week. HKIE had previously had a prosthetic lip made for him to aid in his drinking and swallowing until he was old enough for the surgery.
Xander, at 18 months had his cleft lip repaired slightly over a year ago by Dr Pablo and this week he had a difficult cleft palate surgery.
Thanks to Dr. Pablo, Hospital del Rio, and of course our loyal donors, both these children will have a chance to live a normal life! The parents send huge thanks!!
