Child 724 is 14 year old Gabriel from Cuenca.
He was having problems with his vision and fortunately it was discovered he only needed glasses. Young Gabriel was so excited he would be able to see better and would be receiving glasses, he offered to pay some hard earned money of his own....a very responsible young man!
Child 725 is year and a half old Emil from Chunchi who needed cleft palate surgery. Thanks to our Medical Director Dr. Pablo Salamea and Hospital del Rio in Cuenca little Emil will be able to grow up eating and speaking as a normal child.
Both these children helped because of our HKIE donors and discounts from eye clinics, Hospital del Rio and of course Dr. Pablo!
