Meet 17 year old Zaida, who was brought to our attention by a post made by Maria Jose of Hearts of Gold Foundation in Cuenca.
Zaida wanted her own bike so she could ride around with her brothers and Hearts of Gold Foundation provided her with one.
When we saw the photo of Zaida riding her bike with one leg, we made contacts to see if they were interested in a prosthetic leg. No surprise they said yes!
Now she can have a better life thanks to our donors!
