Four month old Belen and her family live in La Libertad (Salinas) on the coast.
Belen was born with hydrocephaly and recently had the required surgery to prevent her from suffering any brain damage. The surgery was performed at the Roberto Gilbert Children's Hospital in Guayaquil
She also needed a hernia surgery and HKIE was asked by sister Veronica to sponsor this procedure. And of course, we were happy to do so.
