ROMINA'S CELEBRATION.
Peggy and Will Sanders hosted a party in celebration of Romina's successful cochlear implant. Romina wanted a pizza party with family and friends. It was an evening of family, food, fun and celebration of Romina's new lease on life.
Romina is receiving speech therapy twice a week and is already showing great improvement. Her friends and classmates are excited and intrigued by her implant and sudden ability to hear!
Within the next several weeks Romina will be undergoing her first surgery to create actual ears! That will be a post to remember!
Dr. Pablo Javier Salamea Molina, the medical director of HKIE, will make the arrangements for her surgery in Guayaquil. Dr. Pablo will assist in her surgery
