This is Dayana (pictured here with Dra Mariela Siguencia). Dayana who is 13 is in need a new prosthetic eye...the one she was originally given several years ago was too large and did not match her other eye.
Thanks to Dra Siguencia from Hospital Del Rio in Cuenca she will receive an eye that fits and matches the color of her other eye.
Dra Siquencia gave HKIE a generous discount for the prosthetic eye.
Also, Dayana received an eye exam and her first pair glasses.
Dayana and her mother are very grateful to the HKIE donors for making such a dramatic improvement in the quality of Dayana life!
