Imagine...being born both without ears or the ability to hear
A few months ago she had a cochlear implant surgery performed at Hospital Del Rio in Cuenca and now Romina can hear perfectly.
A huge thank goes out to Dr. Fernando Quintana Jedermann for waiving his surgical fees for both surgeries! HKIE paid the discounted hospital cost.
Dr Fernando was assisted by Dr Pablo Javier Salamea Molina during the first surgery.
