This is 5 year old Bryan from a very impoverished barrio in the Salinas area in the Province of Santa Elena.

He was born with only partially formed feet.

He was forced to try to stand and walk on these partial feet making it very difficult to walk, never mind to run or play.

Thanks to our donors HKIE was able to work with Protesis Imbabura oír Allies in the city of Ibarra to get prosthetic feet and shoes for this little one.
Imagine how this will change his entire life!

Our Child 728 is 9 year old Josue from Muey ( a very impoverished barrio near Salinas, Santa Elena Provincia) .

He has a type of cerebral palsy and needed ferulas (braces) and special shoes to enable for him to stand and walk correctly.

Thanks to Protesis Imbabura in Ibarra, our allies , Josue was fitted with both the braces and the shoes. He and his family are very pleased HKIE was able to help improve his life!
